Materials:

– 15mm black safety eyes
– Size K Crochet Hook for Cups
– Size H Crochet Hook for webbed feet
– Tapestry Needle
Finished Size: Approximately 4 inches wide (3 inches wide at bottom) and 3.5 inches tall
Use a double strand of yarn when crocheting (two strands held together)
Duck Cup Pattern – Quackers and Waddles:
with two strands of yellow yarn (Quackers) or soft white (Waddles)
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join to first SC
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 3: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 4: Working in back loops for this round only, SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 5: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next 3, repeat around, join, chain 1 (25 SC)
Round 6-11: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (25 SC)
Round 12: Reverse SC in each stitch around, join,
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Place safety eyes between rounds 10 and 11 about 4 stitches apart.
With a long strand of orange yarn, stitch on beak by weaving yarn around 3 stitches one row below eyes.
Duck Cup Pattern – Puddles the Mallard:
with two strands of cafe latte brown yarn
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join to first SC
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 3: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 4: Working in back loops for this round only, SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 5: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next 3, repeat around, (25 SC)
join in soft white yarn, chain 1
Round 6: SC in each stitch around, (25 SC)
join in tea leaf green yarn, chain 1
Round 7-11: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (25 SC)
Round 12: Reverse SC in each stitch around, join,
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Webbed Feet (make 2 for each cup):
with size H Crochet Hook and single strand of carrot orange yarn (quakers, waddles) and saffron yellow yarn (puddles)
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 6 SC in ring, join, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
Round 3: SC + DC + SC in first stitch, slip stitch to the next, SC + DC + SC in next, slip stitch in next, SC + DC + SC in next, slip stitch to next and leave remaining stitches unworked.
Fasten off leaving long tail.
There are lots of ways to sew on the feet! Place them on the side of the cup to make it look like the duck is sitting or sew them on the bottom so the webbed toes are sticking out the front. Did both placements on Waddles and it looks like he is waddling towards us!
