Crochet Ribbed Neck Warmer

Materials:
- Size I, 5.5 crochet hook
- Bulky weight yarn (size 5), I used Super Saver Chunky in “Blue”. 1 skein needed, 5 oz, 173 yards. 2 skeins needed if you want to add extra rows for a wider width.
- Blunt needle
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
st(s)- stitch(es)
hk – hook
sc- single crochet
BLO- back loop only
sl st- slip stitch
Gauge:
10 sts X 10 rows = 4″ square
Pattern:
Ch 84
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from the hk and each ch to end, turn (83).
Rows 2-18: Ch 1, sc in the BLO in each st across, turn (83).
***The width measures 7″ wide, if you would like a wider neck warmer add more rows until you reach your desired width. You will need more yarn than 1 skein.***
Do not fasten off.
Fold one side down and then the other so they overlap in the front and form a “V”.
Continue to evenly sc around the entire piece, through both sides where they overlap.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
