Size H (5.00mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle

Stitches Used/Abbreviations:
ch-chain
rnd-round
hdc-half double crochet
hdc2tog-half double crochet two stitches together

Instructions:
Rnd 1: ch 2. Work 10 hdc in 2nd ch from hook. Join. (10 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1. Work 2 hdc in each st around. Join. (20 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 1. *Hdc in next st. Work 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (30 sts)
Rnd 4: ch 1. *Hdc in each of the next 2 sts. Work 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (40 sts)
Rnd 5: ch 1. Hdc in each st around. Join. (40 sts)
Rnd 6: ch 1. *Hdc2tog. Hdc in each of the next 2 sts*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (30 sts)
Rnd 7: ch 1. *Hdc2tog. Hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (20 sts)
Rnd 8: ch 1. Hdc2tog, 10 times. Join. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for weaving. Weave tail through final 10 sts and pull tight to close.
Line up the center hole of rnd 1, and the center hole of rnd 8, and squish the piece flat. Using a yarn needle and contrasting color yarn, stitch on desired chips, sprinkles or icing designs.
