Instructions

Round 1

Make a magic ring.

Into the magic ring: Ch 3 (counts as first DC), 2 DC, ch 1.

[3 DC, ch 1] – repeat 5 times.

Pull the tail to close the ring.

Sl st to join.

Color Change: To change the color in the next round, insert the hook into the top of the starting ch 3, yarn over, draw up a loop, and when you have 2 loops left on the hook, pull in the new color. Then, cut Color A.

RND 1: (5 ch-1 spaces)

Round 2 (Color B)

Switch to color B, ch 3, 2 DC in the same ch-1 space.

[3 DC, ch 1, 3 DC] – in the next ch-1 space, repeat from * to * 5 times.

3 DC in the first ch-1 space, ch 1.

Sl st to join and change to color A.

Do not cut Color B. Carry the yarn along for easy color changes.

Color Change Tip: When changing colors in the next rounds, work the last stitch until 2 loops remain on the hook. Then pull in the new color. Work the next stitches over it to carry it along.

Round 3 (Color A)

Switch to color A, ch 1.

Sc in the BLO in each st (and ch 1 space) around, sl st to join.

Finishing

Fasten off, weave in ends.
