JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

TO CHANGE COLORS

Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

Special Stitches

Double Treble (dtr): Yarn over hook 3 times, work off 2 lps at a time.
Cluster (cl): Keeping last loop of each specified st on hook, work in st or sp indicated, yo and pull through all loops on hook.

Rnd 10: Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, dc in next dc across to ch-2 sp, * (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner sp, dc in next dc across to ch-2 sp; rep from * around, ending with (2 dc, ch 2) in corner sp; join. (188 dc)
Rnd 11: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st as joining, * (ch 2, skip 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc) across to corner sp, ch 2, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in corner sp; rep from * around omitting final 3 dc on last rep; join. (52 3-dc groups) Finish off and weave in ends.

FRONT

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with White, ch 6, dc in 6th ch from hook, (skipped ch count as first dc and ch 2), ch 2, (dc in ring, ch 2) 6 times; join with sl st to first dc. (8 spokes, 8 ch-2 sp)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, (sc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, sc) in each ch-2 sp around; join with sl st to first sc. (8 petals)
Rnd 3: Ch 3, working behind petals, sc in next spoke, (ch 3, sc in next spoke) around. (8 ch-3 sp)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, working in ch-3 sps behind petals, (sc, ch 1, 3 dc, ch1, sc) in each sp around; join. (8 petals).
Rnd 5: Ch 4, working behind petals, sc in next Rnd 3 sc, (ch 4, sc in next Rnd 3 sc) around. (8 ch-4 sp)
Rnd 6: Ch 1, working in ch-4 sps behind petals, (sc, ch 1, dc, ch1, 5 tr, ch 1, dc, ch 1, sc) in each sp around; join. (8 petals).
Rnd 7: Ch 6, working behind petals, sc in next Rnd 5 sc, (ch 6, sc in next Rnd 5 sc) around. (8 ch-6 sp)

Rnd 10: With right side facing, join White with sl st to any center cl, ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 2 dc in same sp as joining, * ch 2, 3 dc in next cl, ch 2, (3 dc over ch-10 lp, ch 2) twice, (3 dc over next ch-10 lp, ch 2) twice, 3 dc in next 2 cl, ch 2 *, change color to Blue, with Blue, 3 dc in same cluster, rep from * to *; change color to Yellow, with Yellow, 3 dc in same cluster; rep from * to *; change color to Red; rep from * to *; join. Rnds 11-15: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in first ch-2 sp, * (ch 2, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp) across to corner, ch 2, pick up next color; with next color, 3 dc in same corner sp; rep from * around, omitting final color change and 3-dc group; join. (36, 40, 44, 48, 52 – 3-dc groups)
At the end of Rnd 16, DO NOT FINISH OFF WHITE. Finish off other colors and weave in ends.

Joining Round

Rnd 1: With right sides of Back and Front facing (wrong sides together), matching corners, with White, ch 3, working through both thicknesses, 2 dc in corner sp, (ch 2, 3 dc in next sp) across to next corner, 3 dc in corner sp, ch 20, join to first ch to form ring, 30 sc in ring, ch 1, 3 dc in same corner sp, * ch 2, 3 dc in next sp; rep from * around, working (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in each corner sp, and ending with 3 dc in first sp, ch 2, join.

Finish off and weave in ends.
