​Girl's Flowered Dress

You'll need:

200g of mixed content yarn (cotton/acryl; 188m/100g) of yellow color;

Turquoise or blue yarn for flowers;

Knitting needles 4,5;

Embroidery needle.

Size

12-18 months: length - 28 cm, chest circumference - 48 cm;

2-3 years: : length - 32 cm, chest circumference - 56 cm;

4-5 years: : length - 36 cm, chest circumference - 61 cm.

Used Patterns

Garter stitch: all knit sts;

Stockinette stitch: odd rows - knit sts, even rows - purls.

Stitches control: 18 sts x 38 rows = 10сm x 10сm square.

Instructions

Front

Start with the front part. Cast on 63 (75) 81 sts and make 4 rows with garter stitch. Then, turn to stockinette stitch and knit with straight cloth 20,5 (23) 25,5 cm. In the next row knit every 2nd and 3rd sts together as knit st. There are 42 (50) 54 sts left. Turn to garter stitch. After 4 (4,5) 5 cm, bind off 4 (6) 6 sts from both sides for the arm-hole. For forming arm-hole, decrease 1 st x 4 (5) 5 times, so you should get 26 (28) 32 sts. After 3,5 (4,5) 5 cm, bind off the central 14 (16) 20 sts. Make the two straps from separate balls - 6 sts in each. If you want to fasten the bow with the straps, pay attention to its length.

This dress consists of two same parts, so make back in the same way, as front. Sew back and front parts. Decorate your dress with flowers embroidery (see the photo).
