​Light Summer Dress for Baby Girl

You’ll need:

150g of 100% cotton yarn of turquoise color (240m/50g);

A little bit of white yarn for decoration;

Crochet hook 2.

Size: 12 months.

Instructions

For the border of dress you need to make chain with the same length as your girl’s chest circumference + 2 cm for comfort fit. Circle the chain and continue work due to the scheme 1. The length of border is corrected due to your child’s height.

Flare is obtained by means of even increasing of crochets quantity (6 crochets, then 7 crochets, then 8 crochets)in the “shells” due to the scheme.

Make yoke from the upper edge of your border due to the pattern design. In the 1^st row – all single crochets. In the 2^nd row – make holes due to the scheme 2.

3^rd row – single crochets. After that, divide your work into front and back parts and crochet them separately. Make decreases in every row due to the pattern design. After crocheting 10 cm, bind off the sts of front and back.

Finish your dress with fastening along the border of skirt and upper part of yoke with white yarn.

Pattern for fastening – picot.

Make straps from 4 cords, which are rounded up in one detail. Sew the straps to the yoke.

For decoration, make flowers due to the scheme 3 and sew them to the front part of yoke.
