​Crochet Scarf Vest

You’ll need:

300g of purple yarn (100% silk; 140m/50g);

Crochet hook 4;

Bias tape 2 cm wide.

Size: about 172 cm long and 33,5 cm wide.

Stitches control: 18,5 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 62 chain sts and work due to the scheme. Start every row with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Assembly

Cast on 876 sts along the whole scarf with circular knitting needles and make 1 knit st, 1 purl by turn. For better shaping, increase 1 st before and after corner st in every 2^nd circle row. In 7 circle rows from the set-up row, bind off all sts.

Belt

Make 10 chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and work with half crochets, start every row with 2 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st half crochet and finish with 1 half crochet in the 2^nd chain st increase of the previous row. In 170 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
