Coral Crochet Vest
You’ll need:
400g of coral yarn (300m/100g);
Crochet hook 2,5;
2 buttons.
Size: M.
Note: at first, make placket, then, belt, jacket, starting your work with neck-hole.
Instructions
Placket
Make 16 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. After that, work due to the scheme 1. In 105 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
Belt
Make 26 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. After that, work due to the scheme 2 for 87 cm. Mark the central 21 double crochets along the left side of placket, join the yarn to the side of double crochets of the 35th row and work due to the scheme 3, make increases due to the scheme. In 40 cm from the beginning, finish your work.
Sew loose left side of placket to the edges of front from both sides. After that, sew belt to the lower edge. After that, sew buttons. Fasten the edges with “shells” pattern (1 single crochet in the 1st st, 5 double crochets in the 3rd st).
I absolutely love this vest but I don't understand the schemes. You did a great job with creative design.
