Grey Shades Knit Pullover
You’ll need:
100 (125)g of anthracite yarn (100% cashmere wool; 115m/25g);
175 (200)g of the same yarn, bit in grey color;
Knitting needles 4;
Double pointed knitting needles 6.
Size: S (M).
Used Patterns
Stockinette stitch: in RS row- knit sts, in WS row – purls. In circle rows all knit sts.
Wrong-side pattern: in RS row- purls, in WS row – knit sts. In circle rows all purls.
Rib: 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of garter stitch.
Garter stitch: in RS and WS rows: knit sts. In circle rows: * 1 row of knit sts, 1 row of purls*.
Patent edge: RS row: slip 3 knit sts; WS row: 3 purls.
Stitches control: rib: 23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Stockinette stitch: 21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Note: front and back consist of one long stripe, on which the color of yarn is changed, starting from back, the stripe is twisted around upper part of body, cross front and turn to back.
Instructions
Front and Back
Cast on 68 (84) sts with knitting needles and grey yarn and work with rib from both sides between 3 sts of patent edge. In 90 (95) cm = 288 (304) rows from the set-up row, work with rib with anthracite yarn. In 90 (95) cm = 288 (304) rows from colors change, bind off all sts.
Sleeves
Cast on 52 (60) crossed sts with double grey yarn for each sleeve and work with stockinette stitch. In 8 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 st from both sides for chamfers, then, increase 12 x 1 st in every 8th row = 78 (86) sts. In 42 cm = 112 rows from the set-up row, bind off all sts.
Assembly
Place stripe due to the scheme A – front and due to the scheme B – back as double loop, anthracite stripe should be upon grey stripe. Connect initial and bound off edge with “stitch in stitch” seam. Sew upper and lower parts of back, starting from the middle to 19 (21) cm from each side to upper and lower sides. Make sleeve seams.
