Fancy Grey Pullover

You’ll need:

900 (1000) 1100g of grey Timona yarn (60% merino wool, 40% polyacryl; 120m/50g);

Crochet hooks 5 and 7;

Circular knitting needles 6;

3 snaps 21 mm diameter.

Size: S (M) L.

Note: work in 2 threads of yarn.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern, crochet hook 7: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-3rd rows x once, then, repeat 2nd and 3rd rows.

Note: make 4 separate double crochets behind chain sts crossed with double crochets of the previous row, starting from the 2nd row.

Rib, knitting needles 6: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 selvage sts. WS row: 1 selvage st, * 1 purl, 2 knit sts, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st;

RS row: due to the pattern.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 14 sts x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 64 (72) 80 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern = 7 (8) 9 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. In 56 cm = 28 rows (60 cm = 30 rows) 64 cm = 32 rows form the set-up row, leave the central 20 (24) 28 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 1 x 2 sts in the next row from inwards, for this make 3 double crochets together. Finish your work in 60 cm = 30 rows (64 cm = 32 rows) 68 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row on the rest 20 (22) 24 sts of shoulder from each side. Cast on 62 (70) 78 sts along the bottom of back, make 10 cm of rib for the placket and bind off the sts due to the pattern.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with vent and deeper neck-hole. For vent, leave the central 4 double crochets (crossed double crochets) in 26 cm = 13 rows (30 cm = 15 rows) 34 cm = 17 rows from the set-up row and finish both sides separately. For neck-hole, leace 6 (8) 10 sts and decrease 2 x 2 sts in every row in 54 cm = 27 rows (58 cm = 29 rows) 62 cm = 31 rows from the set-up row.

Sleeves

Make 48 (56) 64 sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern. Finish your work in 36 cm = 18 rows from the set-up row. Cast on 26 (30) 38 sts along the bottom edge of sleeves, make 10 cm of rib for placket and bind off the sts due to the pattern.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 48 (56) 64 single crochets. For collar, work with relief pattern on single crochets = 5 (6) 7 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. Finish collar at 8 cm = 4 rows height. Connect the short edges of vent + short sides of collar with 58 single crochets with crochet hook 5 in 1 thread of yarn. Cast on 58 sts from these sts in 2 threads of yarn with circular knitting needles, make 2,5 cm of rib and bind off all the sts due to the pattern. Cast on 50 (58) 66 sts along the short sides of plackets and between them along the inward side of collar, make 1 row of rib and bind off the sts due to the pattern. Sew the plackets of vent from right to left to the lower edge of vent. Sew up the sleeves, connect the middle of sleeve with shoulder seam, make side and sleeve seams. Sew bottom parts of snaps to the left placket of vent. Sew snaps.
