You’ll need:

600 (650) 700g of grey yarn (100% polyacryl; 90m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4,5 and 5;

Circular knitting needles 5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat A, pattern repeat A x 7 (8) 9 times, repeat stst between pattern A and pattern B x once, repeat pattern B x 7 (8) 9 times, finish with sts after pattern repeat B and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-20th rows on the central 21 sts = 60 rows and repeat 61st and 62nd rows x once, then, repeat 13th-20th rows x 5 times and 61st and 62nd rows x once.

Central pattern 31 sts wide: make in the same way due to the scheme from red line. Repeat 63rd-82nd rows.

Stitches control: relief stripe: 21 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Stockinette stitch: 17,5 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Central pattern: 31 sts = 14 cm wide.

Instructions

Back/Front

Cast on 95 (103) 111 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Don’t take this row into account. Then, work with relief stripe and knitting needles 5. In 24 cm = 62 rows from the set-up row, work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 31 (35) 39 sts of stockinette stitch, 31 sts of the central pattern, 31 (35) 39 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage st. In 40 cm = 104 rows (38,5 cm = 100 rows) 37 cm = 96 rows from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 2 sts and 5 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 75 (83) 91 sts. In 60 cm = 156 rows from the set-up row, bind off 7 (9) 11 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 1 x 7 (9) 11 sts in the next 2nd row. In 61,5 cm = 160 rows from the set-up row, leave the rest 47 sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 51 (51) 57 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Then, change to knitting needles 5 and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 9 (9) 12 sts of stockinette stitch, 31 sts of central pattern, 9 (9) 12 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage st. Repeat 81st and 82nd rows x once, then, repeat 63rd-82nd rows. At the same time from the set-up row, increase 5 x 1 st in every 12th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 5 x 1 st in every 10th row (4 x 1 st in every 10th row and 9 x 1 st in every 8th row) 4 x 1 st in every 10th row and 9 x 1 st in every 8th row = 71 (77) 83 sts. In 46 cm = 120 rows from the set-up row, bind off 3 (4) 4 sts for sleeve caps and 2 x 2 sts, 12 x 1 st, 2 x 2 sts and 1 x 3 (4) 5 sts in every 2nd row. In 60 cm = 156 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 19 (21) 25sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; transfer the previously left 47 sts of back and front to circular knitting needle and repeat the pattern on front and back.
