You’ll need:

300 (350) 400g of white yarn (100% cotton; 125m/50g);

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in sandy, vanilla, yellow colors (each);

Knitting needles 3;

Circular knitting needles 3.


Size: S (M) L.


Used Patterns

Rib: the quantity of sts is even. RS row: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, 1 purl, 1 selvage st; WS row: as sts face.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Garter stitch: knit sts.

Wrong-side garter stitch: purls

Big pearl pattern: the quantity of sts is even. Start every row and finish it with 1 selvage st.

1st row: * 1 knit st, 1 purl*;

2nd and 4th rows: as sts face;

3rd row: * 1 purl, 1 knit st*.

Repeat 1st-4throws.

Patterns and colors order: 6 rows with stockinette stitch with white yarn, * 2 rows of garter stitch with sandy yarn, 4 rows of stockinette stitch with white yarn, ** 2 rows of garter stitch with sandy yarn, 2 rows of stockinette stitch with white yarn, 2 rows of garter stitch and 2 rows of wrong-side garter stitch with sandy yarn, 14 rows of big pearl pattern with yellow yarn, 5 x 2 rows of stockinette stitch with white yarn and 2 rows of garter stitch with vanilla yarn, 10 rows of stockinette stitch with white yarn*; repeat from * to * = 58 rows in height.


Stitches control: 24 sts x 36,5 sts = 10 x 10 cm.


Instructions

Back

Cast on 106 (116) 126 sts with white yarn and make 4 cm of rib for placket. Continue work due to the patterns and colors order. At the same time, decrease 3 x 1 st in every 40th row from placket from both sides for side chamfers = 100 (110) 120 sts. In 41 cm = 150 rows (39 cm = 142 rows) 37 cm = 134 rows from placket, bind off 1 x 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 6 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 82 (92) 102 sts. In 59 cm = 216 rows from placket, bind off the central 42 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from inwards. In 61,5 cm = 224 rows from placket, bind off the rest 14 (19) 24 sts of each shoulder.


Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, in 57 cm = 208 rows from placket, bind off the central 26 sts, then, bind off 7 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from inwards.


Sleeves

Cast on 54 (60) 66 sts for each sleeve and make 8 cm with rib for placket. Continue work due to the patterns and colors order, start with *. At the same time, increase 9 x 1 st in every 12th row from placket, from both sides for sleeve chamfers (11 x 1 st in every 10th and 12th row by turn) 13 x 1 st in every 8th and 10th row due to the pattern and color of yarn = 72 (82) 92 sts. In 38 cm = 138 rows from placket, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, 13 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 5 x 1 st in every 4th row, 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row (17 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 3 x 1 st in every 4th row, 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row) 23 x 1 st in every 2nd row, 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 52 cm = 190 rows from placket, bind off the rest 24 (30) 34 sts.


Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For placket, cast on 116 sts with circular knitting needles and white yarn and make 1 circle row with knit sts, make 2 circle rows of purls. Then, bind off all sts as purls. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
