​Crochet Dress with Sunflowers for Baby Girl

You’ll need:

75g (25g of each of three shades of green color) of Iris yarn (100% cotton; 150m/25g);

Odds of emerald, yellow and black colors yarn;

Crochet hook 1,5.

Size: 6-8 months.

Note: work from up to down.

Instructions

Make 160 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and 3 circle rows of double crochets, then, 1 row due to the scheme 1 and again 3 rows of double crochets, increase the quantity of sts twice = 320 crochets. After that, divide the sts in the following way: leave 70 sts from both sides for sleeves, make front and back on the rest sts.

Back and Front

Make 3 rows of single crochets,1 row of double crochets and 10 rows due to the scheme 2 with another shade yarn. Then, make 10 rows due to the scheme 2 with the third shade of green and 2 rows with emerald yarn.

Assembly

Fasten the bottom of dress with 1 row of single crochets. Turn to the beginning of work and make 10 rows due to the scheme 1. Decrease sts in half in the last row, then, make fringe for neck-hole with emerald yarn. For this, make 100 chain sts and make 1 row of double crochets and fasten this stripe with treble picot from both sides: * 10 double crochets, 3 x 5 chain sts in 1 base st*; repeat from * to *. Sew fringe to neck-hole. Make fringe for arm-holes in the same way, for this, make 2 x 70 chain sts. Sew fringe to arm-holes.

Sunflower

Make 2 chain of 30 chain sts and make 2 stems due to the descriptions of fringe. For sunflower center, make 6 chain sts with black yarn and work with circle rows of single crochets with 1,5 cm diameter. Make petals of sunflower with yellow yarn with fringe. For this, twist the thread of yarn around finger x twice, catch it with crochet hook and draw through double crochets, draw to the needed length and fasten with half crochets. Sew sunflowers to the front of dress, as it’s shown in the photo.
