​Pink Dress for Girl

You’ll need:

300 (350) 350g of bright-pink Capri yarn (55% cotton, 45% polyacryl; 105m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 3,5 and 4,5;

Crochet hook 3,5.

Size: 104/110 (116/122) 128/134.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib, knitting needles 3,5.

Make the rest patterns with knitting needles 4,5.

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts.

Chain (5 sts wide): due to the scheme 2, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows.

Net pattern (4 sts wide): due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows.

Stitches control: 20 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 83 (93) 99 sts and work with chain between selvage sts in the following way: 2 (0) 3 sts of wrong-side pattern, 11 (13) 13 x (5 sts of pattern repeat, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern), 2 (0) 3 sts of wrong-side pattern. Then, decrease 4 x 6 sts in wrong-side pattern in the following way: 1 x 6 sts in every 17^th (20^th) 23^rd rows and 1 x 6 sts in every odd stripe and purl2tog in every even stripe by turn. In 29 (33) 38 cm from the set-up row, knit 5 cm without decreases, then, make 4 (5) 6 cm of rib on all the sts. Then, work due to the scheme 1. For size 104/110, start from arrow: for size 116/122 – 1 knit st and arrow A, for size 128/134 – from arrow A. In 4 (5) 6 cm from the beginning of net pattern, bind off 1 x 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts ans 1 (2) 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 5 (6) 7 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the central 19 (21) 23 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. Bind off 2 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from neck-hole side. Bind off the rest sts of shoulders.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 2 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the central 9 (11) 13 sts and finish both sides separately. Bind off 3 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from the side of neck-hole. In 13 (14) 15 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the rest sts of shoulder.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten all the edges with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”.
