Crochet Pink Cardigan for Baby Girl
You’ll need:
200g of pink Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 55% acryl; 160m/50g);
Odds of pink and white yarn for brooch;
Knitting needles 3;
Crochet hook 3;
Bead.
Size: 2-3 years.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 104 sts and work with 2 x 2 rib. At 17 cm height, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides for arm-holes. At 30 cm height, bind off all sts.
Right Front
Cast on 34 sts and work with 2 x 2 rib. Increase 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 11 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. Make arm-hole from the left side in the same way, as back. At the same time, make knit3tog in every 4th row for neck-hole chamfer from the left side, step back 4 sts from edge. Bind off the rest sts of shoulder at the height of back.
Left Front
Make in symmetry to the right front.
Sleeves
Each sleeve consists of 3 details.
Right Detail
Cast on 10 sts and work with 2 x 2 rib, increase 11 x 1 st in every 5th row for sleeve chamfer. At 22 cm height, bind off 3 x 3 sts, 4 x 2 sts and 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row for sleeve cap. At 28 cm height, bind off the rest sts.
Left Detail
Make in symmetry to the right detail.
Central Detail
Make 4 motifs due to the scheme 1, connect them between one another due to the scheme 2. Fasten inner edges of right and left details with 1 row of single crochets. Sew central stripe.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams, sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with fringe due to the scheme 3 with the help of crochet hook. For brooch, make flower due to the scheme 4 with double two-colored yarn, decorate the center of flower with bead, sew pin to the inner side. Connect both halves of front with the help of brooch.
