​White Cardigan for Girl

You’ll need:

500g of white yarn (60% cotton, 40% polyacryl; 190m/100g);

Knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 3,5.

Size: 10-11 years.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: due to the scheme;

Flower (crochet hook): 1^st row: 10 chain sts in the ring with slip st;

2^nd row: 10 single crochets, slip st;

3^rd row: *arch of 8 chain sts and 1 single crochet* x 5 tomes, slip st;

4^th row: 4 double crochets in every arch. Fasten the center of flower with 4 arches of 5 chain sts and 1 single crochet.

Stitches control: 17 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Right Front (Upper Part)

Cast on 30 sts and work with stockinette stitch. At 2 cm height, decrease 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st for arm-holes. Then, knit straight. At 19 cm height, transfer the first 15sts to the auxiliary needle, bind off the rest 7 sts (shoulder).

Left Front (Upper Part)

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Back (Upper Part)

Cast on 56 sts and work with stockinette stitch, making decreases for arm-holes in the same way, as for front. At 19 cm height, bind off the sts of shoulder in the same way, as for front.

Sleeves

Cast on 48 sts and make 8 rows of garter stitch, 6 rows of stockinette stitch, * 4 rows of garter stitch, make the marked part of the pattern in the center of detail due to the scheme* ; repeat from * to * x twice. Work with wrong-side pattern from both sides of main pattern. Continue work, making 8 rows of garter stitch, 6 rows of stockinette stitch, 4 rows of garter stitch. Then, make the marked part of the pattern due to the scheme in the middle of the detail. Work with wrong-side pattern from both sides of main pattern. Work with garter stitch to the end of the detail. At 35 cm height, increase 3 x 1 st in every 10^th row from both sides. At 48 cm height, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 13 x 1 st, 13 x 2 sts and 13 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides for sleeve caps. Bind off the rest sts.

Bottom Part

Make as one-piece cloth. Cast on 61 sts and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, pattern due to the scheme, 1 selvage st. At 76 cm height, bind off the sts.

Assembly

Make seams of upper details. Cast on sts along neck-hole, cast on 2 sts at the place of every seam. Make collar with garter stitch for 19 cm long, increase 3, 5, 8, 11 and 14 cm or 6, 7, 7, 8 and 8 sts. Sew the bottom part of sleeve. Fasten the loose ends of front, back, collar and sleeves with 1 row of half crochets. Sew flowers and cord of chain sts of 17 cm long to the right front along the seam, connecting upper and bottom parts, sew the same cord to the left front.
