​Relief Crochet Jacket with Short Sleeves

You’ll need:

300g of light-grey Bandola yarn (78% cotton, 22% polyamide; 150m/50g);

Crochet hook 5.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-8^th rows x once for lower part, 1^st-6^th rows x twice. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows for upper part.

Pattern for plackets: the quantity of sts is multiple 5. Start every circle row with 1, 2 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st single crochet, 1 half crochet or 1^st double crochet and finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase.

1^st row: half-crochets;

2^nd and 4^th rows: double crochets;

5^th row: 1 single crochet, * 4 chain sts, skip 4 sts of the previous row, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to *;

6^throw: single crochets.

Make1^st-6^th rows.

Stitches control: double crochets: 15 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern: 15 sts x 9,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 120 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with double crochets for the central stripe. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase of the 1^st double crochet. In 11 cm = 12 rows from the set-up row, make upper part with relief pattern. In 8,5 cm = 8 rows from the stripe, divide your work into 3 parts: back – the central 5 pattern repeats, left front – the last 2 pattern repeats and sts after pattern repeat, right front – sts before pattern repeat and the first 2 pattern repeats. At first, make right front. Make decreases due to the pattern design from the right sides for neck-hole chamfer. In 26,5 cm = 25 rows from the stripe, finish your work. Make left front in symmetry to the right. Then, make back on 5 pattern repeats, finish at the same height as front. For lower part, work with relief pattern along the opposite side. In 21 cm = 20 rows from the stripe, finish your work. Make shoulder seams. Work with straight and reversed rows along front and neck-hole, make 186 half crochets in the 1^st row. In 5 cm = 6 rows from the beginning of placket, finish your work.

Work with circle rows of pattern for plackets, make 55 half crochets in the 1^st row. Make 2 rows of double crochets after the 1^st row, then, make 5^th and 6^th rows. In 4 cm = 5 rows from the beginning of placket, finish your work.
