You’ll need:
100g of 100% cotton yarn (400 m);
Circular knitting needles 3 and 3,5 mm;
Stitch markers.
Instructions
Cast on 7 sts.
WS row: 4 knit sts, marker, 3 knit sts.
1st row (RS): knit to 1 st before marker, yarn over, 1 knit st, replace marker, yarn over, knit3tog, yarn over, knit2tog;
2nd (WS): 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loop (2 sts), 2 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st, yarn over as knit st through back loop, 1 knit st;
3rd row (RS): knit st to marker, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, 1 knit st;
4th row (WS): 6 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st;
5th row (RS): knit to 1 st before marker, yarn over, 1 knit st, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog;
6th row (WS): 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loops (2 sts), 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loops (2 sts), 2 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st, yarn over as knit st through back loop, 1 knit st;
7th row (RS): knit st to marker, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, 1 knit st;
8th row (WS): 8 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st;
9th row (RS): knit to 1 st before marker, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, replace marker, 1 yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog;
10th row (WS): 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loops (2 sts), 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loops (2 sts), 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loops (2 sts), 2 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st, yarn over through back loop, as knit st, 1 knit st;
11th row (RS): knit sts to marker, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, 1 knit st;
12th row (WS): bind off 7 sts, 3 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st.
Repeat these 12 rows until there are 50% of yarn left, finish with the 12th row.
Now, continue with making decreases in rows.
1st row (RS): knit sts to 3 sts before marker, knit2tog, 1 knit st, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog;
2nd row (WS): yarn over, 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loops (2 sts), 2 knit sts, replace marker, knit st;
3rd row (RS): knit sts to marker, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, 1 knit st;
4th row (WS): 6 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st;
5th row (RS): knit sts to 3 sts before marker, knit2tog, 1 knit st, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog;
6th row (WS): 1 knit st, yarn over through back and front loops (2 sts), 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loop (2 sts), 2 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st;
7th row (RS): knit sts to marker, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, 1 knit st;
8th row (WS): 8 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st;
9th row (RS): knit sts to 3 sts before marker, knit2tog, 1 knit st, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog, yarn over, knit2tog;
10th row (WS): 1 knit st, yarn over through back and front loops (2 sts), 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loop (2 sts), 1 knit st, yarn over through front and back loop (2 sts), replace marker, 1 knit st;
11th row (RS): knit sts to marker, replace marker, yarn over, knit2tog, 1 knit st;
12th row (WS): bind off 7 sts, 3 knit sts, replace marker, 1 knit st.
Repeat these 12 rows until there are 3 sts left before marker in the 11th (RS) row.
Bind off the last 12 sts in the next 12th row (WS).
Weave in ends.
