Tension: 28 sts x 40 rows = 14 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Start with the sole and go up, after that – sew the sole and back seam.

Left Bootie

Cast on 39 sts, then make 2 rows of knit sts and place a marker in the central st.

1^st row: 1 knit st, add 1 more knit st, then – knit st to the last knit st with marker (then, to the marker), add 1 st, 3 knit sts, add 1 st, knit sts to the end of row, add 1 st, 1 knit st;

2^nd row: knit sts.

Repeat 1^st-2^nd rows twice = 51 sts. After that – 2 rows of knit sts.

Foot

1^st row: knit sts;

2^nd row: purls;

3^rd row: 1 knit st, * yarn in front of work, slip the st, yarn behind work, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows twice, then - 1 row of purls.

The upper part of foot: 1 knit st, (yarn in front of work, slip the st behind work, 1 knit st) x 9 times, 1 broaching (yarn in front of work, slip the st behind work, 1 knit st) x 4 times, yarn in front of work, slip the st, yarn behind work, knit2tog, (1 knit st, yarn in front of work, slip the st, yarn behind work) x 9 times, 1 knit st = 49 sts.

Next and all the wrong-side rows – purls.

Right Bootie

Make in the same way as left bootie to **.

Then: 7 knit sts, cast on 16 sts, transfer the last 7 sts to the auxiliary knitting needle.

Next row: 16 knit sts, 7 knit sts, 7 sts from the auxiliary needle as knit sts = 30 sts.

Then, 1 row of knit sts.

Next row: 2 knit sts, knit2tog, yarn over, finish the row with knit st. Next 2 rows – knit sts, bind off the sts.

Assembly

Make back and sole seams.
