​Knit Hat with Kitten Ears

You’ll need:

1 skein of yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 220m/100g);

Knitting needles 3,5.

Instructions

Cast on 28 sts and make 120 rows with the pattern 1, bind off all the sts. Then, cast on 38 sts from each side of your work and make thicker sts in the center of work – for nicer shape of ears. After that, work with 2 x 2 rib for 14 rows, in the end, you can bind off the sts or sew them together with the help of crochet hook.

Bottom

Knitaround. Cast on 104 sts with double-pointed knitting needles and make 5 rows of 2 x 2 rib, 6^th row - purls, 7^th-10^th rows - knit sts. Then, for finishing, fold your work along WS row and sew, but don’t bind off the sts to the beginning of rib, as a result you should get double rib.
