Multifunctional Shawl
You’ll need:
2 skeins of 100% wool yarn “Annapurna” (350m/100g);
Knitting needles 4 or 6.
Size: 195 x 130 x 86 cm.
Arm-holes – 20 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 1 st, make the following increases from one side in every right-side row. For making arm-holes, at 75 cm from the beginning of work and 20 cm from the edge bind off the sts for 20 cm, then finish the row. Make 4 rows with arm-hole, then cast on the needed quantity of sts in right-side row.
As soon as the height of triangle is 86 cm, make decreases in every right-side row from the same side. Work due to the ornament of the scheme.
The quantity of sts is multipled 2 + 2 selvedge sts + 1.
1st row: purls;
2nd row: 1 purl, purl2tog to the end of row;
3rd row:1 purl, 1 purl from broaching to end of row;
4th row: purl2tog, yarn over, purl2tog to end of row, finish the row with 1 purl. (pic. 1).
You can wear this shawl any way you like – vest, shawl or may be your own variant.
