​Two-Colored Cast On

Start with slip st with both colors of yarn. Transfer it to the left-hand needle. Insert the right-hand needle in the st from yarn 1, catching the yarn 2 and knit. Then, * insert the needle under yarn 2, catch yarn 1, make yarn over, insert the right-hand needle in the sts of yarn color 2 on the left-hand needle, insert the needle under yarn 2, catch yarn 1, make a st with it, return the new st to the left-hand needle, tighten yarn 2*; repeat from * to *, alternating the colors of yarn.
