Materials: Caron Simply Soft (or any ww yarn)

  • ½ oz. Soft Pink
  • ½ oz. Watermelon
  • Size “H” crochet hook

with Soft Pink, ch8, slip stitch to 1st ch to form a circle.

Round 1: ch2, (3dc in ring, ch6, slip stitch to post of last dc made) 8 times, slip stitch to 1st changing to color B.

Round 2: ch1, slip stitch in next dc, 12dc in next ch6 sp, * skip next dc, slip stitch in next dc, 12dc in next ch6 sp, repeat from * around, slip stitch to 1st slip stitch, changing back to color A.

Round 3: ch1, sc in same slip stitch, working behind petals, * ch5, sc in next slip stitch, ch3, sc in next slip stitch, repeat from * around.

Round 4: slip stitch in 1st ch5 sp, ch2, (3dc, ch3, 3dc) in same sp, 3dc in next ch3 sp, * (3dc, ch3, 3dc) in next ch5 sp, 3dc in next ch3 sp, repeat from * around, slip stitch to 1st dc.

Round 5: ch2, dc in same dc as ch2, ch1, skip next dc, dc in next dc, ch1, * (dc, ch3, dc, ch1) in next ch3 sp, (dc, skip next dc, ch1) across, dc in next dc, ch1, repeat from * around, slip stitch to 1st dc.

Round 6: ch2, dc in 1st dc, (dc in ch1 sp, dc in next dc) repeat across to corner, (dc, ch3, dc) in next ch3 sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * around, slip stitch to 1st dc.
