Materials: Small amounts of worsted weight 4-ply yarn in yellow and brown, size I crochet hook
Beg Popcorn Stitch: ch 3, 4 dc in same sp, drop loop from hook, insert hook in top of beg. ch-3, pick up dropped look and draw through, pushing popcorn to right side.
Popcorn Stitch (PC): Work 5 dc in space, drop loop from hook, insert hook in 1st dc of 5 dc group, pick up dropped loop and draw through, pushing PC to right side.
With brown, ch 2. NOTE: in Rnds 1-4, do not join at the end of round, work in a continuos circle. Mark beginning of each round with a safety pin or piece of yarn of contrasting color.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.

Rnd 5: Join yellow with a sl st in any sc on Rnd 4, ch 1, sc in same sp as joining, ch 3, sk next sc, * sc in next sc, ch 3, sk next sc; rep from * around, sl st into beg. ch-1 to join. 12 ch-3 loops.
Rnd 6: Sl st into 1st ch-3 loop, work Beg. Popcorn stitch in same loop, ch 3, * work PC in next loop, ch 3; rep from * around, join with a sl st in top of Beg. Popcorn. (12 popcorn stitches
