Crochet Fall Leaf

Materials:
- yarn – fall colors, variegated is best and gives your leaf all sorts of fun colors in one skein.
- crochet hook – size I
- scissors
- crochet needle
Instructions:
Pattern: This pattern is for the middle leaf, medium sized. Adjust stitches for the small and large leaves.
1. Chain stitch 10. This will be the center of the leaf.
2. Going back down the chain, follow these stitches for one side of the leaf:
- skip one stitch
- sl – slip stitch
- sl – slip stitch
- sc – single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- sc – single crochet
- sl – slip stitch
- sl – slip stitch
3. Continue around in a circle, to complete the other side of the leaf (this pattern allows for the stitches to represent the leaf’s veins)
- sl – slip stitch

- dc – double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- sc – single crochet
- sl – slip stitch
- sl – slip stitch
- tie off on the last stitch
4. Leave one of the tails 1 inch long, sticking out, as the leaf’s stem.
5. Use your crochet needle to hide your other tail.
