JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Yellow, ch 8, st st in first ch to form ring, ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), [dc in ring, ch 1, 2 dc in ring, ch 1] 3 times, dc in ring, ch 1, dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc and 8 ch-1 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 2: With right side facing, join Multicolor with sl st to first ch-1 sp (4th ch of ch-4), ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), [3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2] 7 times, 2 dc in first ch-1 sp; join with sl st to first dc. (24 dc and 8 ch-2 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 3: With right side facing, join Yellow with sl st to last ch-2 sp made, ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), [5 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 3, 5 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] 3 times, 5 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 3, 4 dc in next ch-2 sp; join. Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 4: With right side facing, join Purple with sl st to any ch-3 sp, ch 3, 3 dc in same sp, [skip next dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, skip next dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc, 6 dc in next ch-3 sp] 3 times, skip next dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, skip next dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc, 2 dc in next ch-3 sp; join.

Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc, dc in next 12 dc, [2 dc in next 2 dc, dc in next 12 dc] around; join.

Rnd 6: Ch 3, [2 dc in next 2 dc, dc in next 14 dc] around, omitting last dc on final repeat; join.

Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, [2 dc in next 2 dc, dc in next 16 dc] around, omitting last 2 dc on final repeat; join. Finish off and weave in ends.
