Fancy Pullover with Beads Pattern

You’ll need:

200g of beige Mia yarn (80% alpaca, 20% polyacryl; 125m/50g);

50g of the same yarn, but in green color;

50g of the same yarn, but in violet color;

Straight and circular knitting needles 4,5;

Crochet hook 4.

Used Patterns

Pattern with beads: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1, 1 bead is considered as 1 st. Work due to the scheme. Start every row with 1 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st single crochet or 1st double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-4th rows, make double crochets together with beads starting from the 3rd row.

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Striped pattern: 4 green rows of wrong-side pattern, 4 violet rows of stockinette stitch, 1 beige RS row of knit sts and 4 beige rows of wrong-side pattern, 4 green rows of stockinette stitch, 1 violet WS row of purls and 4 violet rows of wrong-side pattern, 1 beige WS row of purls and 4 beige rows of wrong-side pattern, 4 green rows of stockinette stitch, 1 violet RS row of knit sts and 3 violet rows of wrong-side pattern = 48 rows.

Stitches control: beads pattern: 16 sts x 5,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Striped pattern: 15 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

For lower rectangular, make 40 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and make 20 cm = 11 rows of pattern with beads. For upper square, make 160 sts with green yarn and work with striped pattern. In 1,5 cm = 4 rows from the set-up row, decrease 8 sts in the next row in the following way: * kni3tog, 37 sts of pattern around*; repeat from * to * x 3 times = 152 sts. Repeat these decreases x 17 times in every 2nd row. In 40 rows from the set-up row, make 1 final row with beige yarn in the following way: * purl3tog, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * x 3 times. Tighten the rest 8 sts with working yarn. Sew side edges to get square. Sew the striped square to the last row of lace rectangular = 40 sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Left Side Detail

For lower rectangular, cast on 120 sts with green yarn and work with striped pattern. In 1,5 cm = 4 rows from the set-up row, decrease 6 sts in the next RS row in the following way: make 37 sts, knit4tog as broaching, make 38 sts due to the pattern, knit4tog as broaching, make 37 sts = 114 sts. In 17,5 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 6 sts with green yarn as knit sts. Fold the bound off edge in half and sew 3 sts together. For upper rectangular, cast on 40 sts with beige yarn and work with striped pattern. For chamfer, decrease 4 x 1 st in every 4th row from inwards. In 20 cm = 48 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 16 sts from each side with purls with violet yarn. Sew set-up row of upper rectangular to upper edge of lower rectangular.

Right Side Detail

Make in the same way as left side detail.

Sleeves

Make 34 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with beads pattern. In 12,5 cm = 7 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides in the next row and 8 x 1 st in every 2nd row. At first, make increased sts as double crochets, then, include in pattern = 52 sts. In 45,5 cm = 25 rows from the set-up row, decrease 9 sts from both sides for arm-holes and make 11 cm = 6 rows due to the pattern on the rest 34 sts. Finish your work in 56,5 cm = 31 rows from the set-up row.

Assembly

Sew side details between front and back, stretch side edges of upper squares. Sew up the sleeves, sew upper 11 cm to the upper edges of side details to 5,5 cm of horizontal edges and sew to arm-holes. Make sleeve seams. Cast on 136 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and beige yarn, make 1 cm = 3 circle rows of stockinette stitch for placket and bind off as knit sts.
