​Knit Top with Beads

You’ll need:

200g of light-blue mélange yarn (60% cotton, 40% microfiber; 30m/50g);

Circular knitting needles 5;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls, in circle row – knit sts.

Wrong-side pattern: in circle row – purls;

Cable A (10 sts wide): 1^st-4^th circle rows: 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 6 sts of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern;

5^th circle row: 2 purls, cross 6 sts to the left (leave 3 sts on the auxiliary needle in front of work, 3 knit sts, 3 knit sts from the auxiliary needle), 2 purls;

6^th row: knit form the 1^st to the 4^th rows.

Repeat 1^st-6^th rows.

Cable B (10 sts wide): make in the same way, as cable A, but cross 6 sts to the right (leave 3 sts on the auxiliary needle behind work, 3 knit sts, 3 knit sts from the auxiliary needle).

Weaving pattern of the “beads” (32 sts wise): work due to the scheme 1, on which only odd rows are stated, make even rows due to the pattern, sts of “beads” as purls. Repeat 1^st-70^th rows.

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1 + 2 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 2. Start the 1^st row with 1 chain sts increase, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Repeat 1^st and 2^nd rows x once, then, cut the yarn and make the 3^rd row above the set-up row.

Stitches control: 21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Caston 124 stsandmake 4 cmofrib. Then, work in the following way: 70 sts of rib, finish 2 knit sts, 10 sts of cable A, 2 sts of stockinette stitch, make weaving pattern with “beads” on the next 30 sts (increase 2 sts in the 1^st circle row = 32 sts), 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 10 sts of cable B = 126 sts.

In 26 cm = 70 circle rows from rib, make all the sts with rib for the placket, decrease 2 sts in the 1^st circle row at the height of weaving pattern with “beads” = 124 sts.

At 4 cm height of the placket, bind off the sts due to the pattern.

Straps

Make 2.

Make 2 chains of 48 chain sts each and work due to the scheme 2.

Assembly

Join the straps to the upper placket in order to weaving pattern with “beads” is in the center of front.
