You’ll need:

400 (450)g of burgundy yarn (54% alpaca, 23% polyamide, 14% wool, 9% polyester; 115m/50g);

Crochet hook 6.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 11. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Note: make double crochets in chain sts of the previous row all the time. Make 1st-5th rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-5th rows.

Pattern for placket: work due to the scheme 2 with circle rows straight on the main pattern. Repeat 1st-8th circle rows.

Stitches control: 18,5 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 83 (95) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 60 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Sleeves

Make 59 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for each sleeve and work with the main pattern. In 31,5 cm = 22 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Sew the upper edge of sleeves + 1 cm from both sides to the corresponding place of front and back side seams.

Fasten the last row of back, 1st sleeve, front and 2nd sleeve with pattern for placket.

For this, join the yarn with the help of 1 slip st on the arch (arrow A on the scheme). In 8 circle rows from the beginning of pattern for placket, finish your work.

The Hook is 6mm, does that mean that the yarn is bulky weight? And how many yards?

Yes, the yarn is quite bulky.

400g = about 364yards

450g = about 405 yards
