​Knit Sweater with Bells Pattern

You’ll need:

300 (350) 400g of light-blue yarn (100% cotton; 110m/50g);

Knitting needles 3,5 and 4.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Bells pattern, knitting needles 3,5: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Make pattern repeat between selvage sts. Make 1st-10th rows x once, then, repeat 5th-10th rows x 9 times = totally, 64 rows.

Stockinette stitch, knitting needles 4: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: bells pattern: 22,5 sts x 18,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Stockinette stitch: 20 sts x 27,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 104 (110) 116 sts with knitting needles 3,5 in criss-cross way and work with bells pattern. In 34,5 cm = 64 rows from the set-up row, continue work with stockinette stitch and knitting needles 4. In 14 cm = 38 rows (16 cm = 44 rows) 18 cm = 50 rows from patterns change, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for sleeve chamfer, then, 10 x 2 sts (7 x 2 sts and 3 x 3 sts) 4 x 2 sts and 6 x 3 sts in every 2nd row. In 22 cm = 60 rows (24 cm = 66 rows) 26 cm = 72 rows from patterns change, bind off the rest 60 sts for neck-hole.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Make side seams at area of bells pattern.
