Materials:

> Crochet hook 3.5 mm

<> Caron, Simply Soft (4) worsted weight yarn – 100% acrylic

ch – chain

SC – single crochet

HDC – half double crochet

sl st – slip stitch

st – stitch

DC – double crochet

st(s) – stich(es)

Dec: single crochet 2 stitches together – insert your hook into the front loop of the next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, then insert your hook into the front loop of the following stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops on the hook, then yarn over and pull through the last 2 loops on the hook.

Chain 18.

Round 1: SC in 2nd chain from hook, HDC in the next ch, DC in the next 4 chains, HDC in the next ch, SC in the next ch, skip next chain, SC in the next ch, HDC in the next ch, DC in the next 4 chains, HDC in the next ch, [SC, ch2, SC] in last ch.

Now working on the other side of the chain, HDC in the next ch, DC in the next 4 chains, HDC in the next ch, SC in the next ch, skip next chain, SC in the next ch, HDC in the next ch, DC in the next 4 chains, HDC in the next ch, SC in the next ch, ch 2. Join with sl st to 1st SC.

You can stop after Round 1 or continue crocheting Round 2.

Round 2: ch 1, sl st in the same stitch as joining. [ch1, sl st in the next st] – repeat around. Join.

Crochet flower bell (make two):

Round 1: Magic ring, 6 SC in ring, join to 1st SC. (6 SC)

Round 2: Ch 1, 2 SC in each st around, join to 1st SC. (12 SC)

Round 3: Ch 1, SC in first st, 2 SC in next, repeat around, join to 1st SC. (18 SC).

Rounds 4–6: Ch 1, SC in each st around, join to 1st SC. (18 SC).

Round 7: Ch 1, SC in first st, dec, repeat around, join to 1st SC.

Round 8: Ch 1, *[SC, HDC, DC] – in first st, [DC, HDC, SC ] – in next stitch, repeat from * around, join to 1st SC.

Cut the yarn and weave in ends.

Stalk and assembly:

Leave a 10 cm tail, then chain 40-50 stitches. Cut the yarn, leaving another 10 cm tail.

Thread the chain through the leaves, and then, using the tails at the end, attach the flower bells
