You’ll need:
8 skeins of Lion Brand® LB Collection® Hand-Dyed Superwash Merino (Art. #475) in 208 Mango Tango (A);
8 skeins of the same yarn, but in 203 Your Fuchsia Is Bright (B);
Crochet hook 5 mm;
Large-eyed blunt needle.
Size: Finished Bust About 52 in. (132 cm)
Finished Back Length About 32 in. (81.5 cm)
Instructions
Front
With A, ch 122.
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across – you’ll have 120 hdc in this row.
Row 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), turn, working in back loops only, hdc in each hdc across.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 13 in. (33 cm) from beg.
Change to B. With B, rep Row 2 until piece measures about 26 in. (66 cm) from beg. Fasten off.
Back
With B, ch 138.
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across – you’ll have 136 hdc in this row.
Row 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), turn, working in back loops only, hdc in each hdc across.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 13 in. (33 cm) from beg.
Change to A.
With A, rep Row 2 until piece measures about 26 in. (66 cm) from beg.
Fasten off.
Sew Shoulder Seams
Place Front and Back together, with top edges aligned and matching colors A to A and B to B at sides. Sew shoulder seams, leaving 8 in. (20 cm) unsewn at center for neck opening.
Sew Side Seams
Sew side seams, leaving 9 in. (23 cm) unsewn below shoulder seams for armholes and leaving 2 in. (5 cm) unsewn at lower Front edge and 6 in. (15 cm) at lower Back edge for side slits.
Sleeves
From RS, working on the A side of the Dress, join A with a sl st at underarm. Ch 3 (does not count as a st in this rnd and all following rnds), work 66 dc evenly spaced around armhole; join with sl st in top of beg ch.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, 2 dc in each st around; join with sl st in top of beg ch – 132 dc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in each st around; join with sl st in top of beg ch.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in each st around; join with sl st in top of beg ch – 264 dc.
Rnds 4-13: Ch 3, dc in each st around; join with sl st in top of beg ch.
Rnd 14: Ch 3, dc2tog around; join with sl st in top of beg ch – 132 dc.
Rnd 15: Ch 3, dc2tog around; join with sl st in top of beg ch – 66 dc.
Rnd 16: Ch 3, dc2tog around; join with sl st in top of beg ch – 33 dc.
Rnd 17: Ch 3, dc2tog around to last dc, dc in last dc; join with sl st in top of beg ch – 17 dc.
Rnds 18-20: Ch 3, dc in each st around; join with sl st in top of beg ch.
Fasten off.
With B, rep for second Sleeve on B side of the Dress.
Assembly
Weave in ends.
