You’ll need:

100g of blue Admiral ombre (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 420m/100g);

Odds of the same yarn, but in green color;

Odds of the same yarn, but in yellow color;

Odds of the same yarn, but in orange color;

Crochet hooks 3 and 4.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 1. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-4th rows.

Fans pattern: make in the same way, as main pattern, but due to the scheme 3. Make 1st-7th rows x once, then, repeat 4th-7th rows.

Colors order: * 2 blue rows, 2 yellow rows, 2 orange rows, 2 green rows*; repeat from * to *.

Single crochets: in circle rows: start every circle row with 1 extra chain st increase and finish with 1 slip st in the 1st single crochet; in straight and reversed rows: start with 1 extra chain st increase and finish with 1 single crochet in the 1st single crochet of the previous row.

Stitches control: main pattern: 19,5 sts x 8,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 5 chain sts with crochet hook 4 and double threads of blue yarn and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st. Then, work with circle rows of single crochets in 2 threads of yarn:

1st rnd: 7 single crochets;

2nd rnd: double every st (14 sts);

3rd rnd: * 2 single crochets in 1 base st, 1 front post double crochet*; repeat from * to * x 6 times (21 sts);

4th rnd: * 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next st of the previous rnd, 1 front post double crochet behind front post double crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to * (28 sts). Then, double 6 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 2 x 1 st in every 4th row from both sides (140 sts).

Make 2 single crochets together from both sides of front post double crochets in the 25th, 29th, 35th, 37th and 39th rows = 70 sts. Then, make 1 circle row of single crochets with blue, green, blue, yellow, blue, orange, blue yarn for placket.
