Instructions
Back and Front
Make 197 chain sts (the quantity of sts is multiple 14 + 1 st for the symmetry), make 3 chain sts increase. Then, crochet straight. There are 12 patter repeats between stripes and then 72 squares of diagonal net. Repeat 1st-9th rows x once, then, repeat 10th-17th rows. In 38 cm from the set-up row, divide your work into 3 parts (42 squares – back, each half of front – stripe of “spiders” pattern + 15 squares), you can make marks with the help of pins. Then, continue making each part separately.
Back
At 38 cm height from the set-up row, decrease 2 squares of pattern from both sides and decrease 1 square in every following row. After that, crochet straight. In 18 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, form neck-hole. For this, bind off the central 10 squares and finish each shoulder separately. In 4 cm from the beginning of neck-hole, finish your work above shoulder. Make the second shoulder in reflection to the first one.
Front
Make arm-hole in the same way, as for back. Decrease 2 squares in one row and then decrease 2 x 1 square. At the same time, decrease 1 square of cross net in every row. In 22 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, finish your work above shoulder. Make the second half of front in reflection.
Sleeves
Crochet from bottom to up. Make 57 chain sts (the quantity of sts is multiple 14 + 1 st for symmetry), make 3 chain sts increase. Then, crochet straight due to the scheme 6-1 (4 pattern repeats). Repeat 1st-9th rows, then, work with cross net. For widening, increase 3 sts from both sides in every 6th row, include the increased sts in pattern. At 36 cm height from the set-up row, decrease 2 squares in one row from both sides of sleeves, then decrease 1 square in every row. In 15 cm from the beginning of sleeve cap, finish your work. Make the second sleeve in the same way.
Assembly
Sew shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten the edges of sleeves due to the scheme 7-2. Work with pattern for fringe due to the scheme 7-2 along the lower edge of work, edges of front and neck-hole. Make button-loops. Sew buttons to the left half of front.
