You’ll need:
450 (500) 500g of black Soft Cotton yarn (64% cotton, 36% polyamide; 70m/50g);
150g of black Algarve yarn (100% cotton; 142m/50g);
Straight knitting needles 7;
Circular knitting needles 6,5.

Used Patterns
Special decreases: from the right side: 1 selvage st, knit2tog; from the left side: make 3rd and 2nd sts from the end of row together as broaching, 1 selvage st.
Yarn order on front and back: 40 Algarve rows, 30 Soft cotton rows, 40 Algarve rows, 20 Soft cotton”; repeat from * to * x twice = totally, 160 rows.
Yarn order on sleeves: * 10 Soft cotton rows, 10 Algarve rows*; repeat from * to * x twice, 10 soft cotton rows = totally, 70 rows.
Stitches control: soft cotton yarn: 14 sts x 23,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Algarve rows: 15 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 76 (82) 82 sts in criss-cross way with Soft Cotton yarn and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, work with stockinette stitch due to the yarn order. In 13,5 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, make special decreases of 1 st from both sides and 6 x 1 st in every 10th row = 62 (68) 74 sts. In 70 cm = 160 rows from the set-up row, bind off all sts, the central 34 sts form neck-hole, outer 14 (17) 20 sts from each side –shoulders.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but for neck-hole, bind off the central 26 sts in 65 cm = 148 rows from the set-up row and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. In 70 cm = 160 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 14 (17) 20 sts of shoulder from each side.
Sleeves
Cast on 44 (46) 48 sts in criss-cross way with Soft Cotton yarn and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, work with stockinette stitch due to the yarn order. At the same time, increase 6 x 1st in every 10th row (8 x 1 st in every 8th row) 10 x 1 st in every 6th row from both sides = 52 (62) 68 sts. In 30,5 cm = 70 rows from the set-up row, bind off all sts.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. For placket, cast on 78 sts with circular knitting needles and Soft Cotton yarn, make 2 cm of stockinette stitch and bind off sts as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
