You’ll need:

6 (7) 7 (8) skeins of white Katia Joya (36% wool, 33% polyamide, 27% viscose, 4% polyester; 145m/50g);

Knitting needles 4,5.

Size: S (M) L (XL).

Stitches control: 18,5 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 109 (118) 127 (136) sts and make 6 rows of garter stitch for lower placket. Continue work, divide sts in the following way: work with wrong-side pattern on 12 sts from both sides, work with relief pattern on the central 85 sts (with wrong-side pattern on 12 sts from both sides, with relief pattern on the central 94 sts) with wrong-side on 12 sts from both sides, with relief pattern on the central 103 sts (with wrong-side pattern on 12 sts from both sides, with relief pattern on the central 112 sts). At the same time, decrease 5 x 1 st in every 8th row from both sides for side chamfers and 5 x 1 st in every 6th row = 89 (98) 107 (116) sts. In 51 (52) 53 (54) cm from the set-up row, bind off 2 x 10 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers, 1 x 9 sts (3 x 11 sts) 3 x 12 sts (3 x 13 sts) in every row. In 51 (52) 53 (54) cm from the set-up row, bind off the central 9 (10) 13 (16) sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 6 sts and 1 x 5 sts in every 2nd row from RS inwards. Make the second side in symmetry.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 48 (49) 50 (51) cm from the set-up row, bind off the central 11 (12) 15 (18) sts in RS row and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row from RS. At the same time, make shoulder chamfer: in 3 cm from the beginning of neck-hole, bind off 2 x 10 sts, 1 x 9 sts (3 x 11 sts) 3 x 12 sts (3 x 13 sts) in every 2nd row from inwards. Finish the second side in symmetry.

Sleeves

Cast on 53 (57) 60 (64) sts and make 6 rows of garter stitch. Continue work, divide sts in the following way: make 2 sts form both sides with wrong-side, work with relief pattern on the central 49 sts (with wrong-side pattern on 4 sts from both sides, with relief pattern on the central 49 sts) with wrong-side pattern on 1 st from both sides, with relief pattern on the central 58 sts (with wrong-side pattern on 3 sts from both sides) with relief pattern on the central 58 sts. At the same time, in 1,5 cm from the set-up row, increase 10 x 1 st in every 10th row from both sides (10 x 1 st in every 10th row) 10 x 1 st in every 10th and 12th rows (10 x 1 st in every 10th row) 10 x 1 st in every 10th and 12th rows by turn = 73 (77) 80 (84) sts.

Assembly

Make one shoulder seam. Cast on 38 (40) 43 (4) sts along back neck-hole and 42 (45) 49 (53) sts along edge of front neck-hole, make 6 rows of garter stitch on all 80 (85) 92 (98) sts for trim. Then, bind off sts. Make second shoulder seam, including trim. Sew up the sleeves in open arm-holes of 20 (21) 22 (23) cm long, connect the center of sleeve with shoulder seam. Make side and sleeve seams.
