You’ll need:

50g of beige Bergere de France Bigarelle yarn (55% cotton, 36% linen, 9% viscose; 390m/100g);

Knitting needles 2,5 and 3.

 

Size: 2 (4) 6 (8) 10 years.

 

Stitches control: 26 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back

Cast on 59 (67) 75 (83) 91 sts with knitting needles 2,5 and make 2 cm = 8 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Change to knitting needles 3 and work with stockinette stitch. In 19 (22) 25 (28) 31 cm = 66 (76) 86 (96) 106 rows from the set-up row, change to knitting needles 2,5 and make 2 cm = 8 rows of 1 x 1 rib and bind off all sts.

 

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

 

Straps

Cast on 7 sts with knitting needles 2,5 and make 21 (23) 25 (27) 29 cm of 1 x 1 rib, start and finish with 2 knit sts, then, bind off all sts.

 

Assembly

Sew straps from WS of back and front to placket made of 1 x 1 rib, the distance between straps is 7 (8) 9 (10) 11 cm from each other. Make side seams.
