Summer Crochet Hat for Girl

You'll need:

25g of white 100% cotton yarn;

Straight knitting needles 2,5 and 3;

Crochet hook.

Size: 3-5 years.

Head circumference: 48-50 cm

Used Patterns

Garter stitch: all knit sts

Stockinette stitch: in right-side rows - all knit sts, in wrong-side rows - all purls;

Relief pattern: due to the scheme.

Make sample for calculation of certain quantity of sts.

Instructions

Cast on 91 sts with knitting needles 3 and make 4 rows with garter stitch - hat's edging.

Turn to the knitting needles 2,5 and start knitting relief pattern. Repeat 1st-15th rows 3 times.

For making crown, make decreases along the whole work. For this, knit3tog in the center in 3 right-side rows of each pattern repeat (4, 5, 6 sts).

Knit2tog all the sts the last row. Transfer the rest sts to the crochet hook. Cut the yarn, leave long end (about 25-30 cm). Draw the end of yarn through all the sts and tighten.

Make vertical seam of hat with the same yarn.
