The quantity of sts is multiple 2 + 1.

Set-up row: Color B – knit;

1st row (WS): Color A – k1, *knit next st in the row below, k1; rep from *;

2nd row: Color A – knit first st in the row below, *k1, knit next st in the row below; rep from *;

3rd row: Color B – k1, *knit next st in the row below, k1; rep from *;

4th row: Sl all sts to other end of needle and with Color A, repeat Row 2;

5th row: Color A – k1, *knit next st in the row below, k1; rep from *;

6th row: Sl all sts to other end of needle and with Color B, repeat Row 2.

Repeat 1st-6th rows.
