Knit Oversize Pullover
You’ll need:
500 (550)g of grey/beige mélange yarn (#15) of Lana Grossa Alta Moda Alpaca yarn (90% baby alpaca, 5% merino wool, 5% polyamide; 140m/50g);
150g of light-brown/coper color yarn (#5) of Lana Grossa Bombolino Lux yarn (35% baby alpaca, 25% wool, 25% mohair, 10% polyamide, 5% polyester; 150m/50g);
Knitting needles 6,5;
Circular knitting needles 6,5 (80 and 100 cm long);
Circular knitting needles 5,5 (60 cm long).
Size: S (M).
Used Patterns
2 x 2 rib.
Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.
Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts.
Across rib: 2 rows of stockinette stitch, 2 rows of wrong-side pattern.
Pearl pattern: * 1 knit st, 1 purl*, replace st in every row.
Stitches control: across rib: 17 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10cm;
Pearl pattern: 12 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back with ½ Sleeve
Cast on 97 (105) sts with knitting needles 6,5 and Alta Moda Alpaca yarn. Work with across rib. Cast on 1 st from both sides in 12 cm = 38 rows from the beginning of work, then, 10 x 1 st in every 4th row and 17 x 1 st in every 2nd row, then, cast on 2 x 2 sts, 4 x 3 sts and 1 x 4 sts in every 2nd row from both sides for sleeves = 193 (201) sts. Knit straight after the last increase. In 14 (15) cm = 44 (48) rows from the last increase, bind off 5 (9) x 7 sts and 8 (4) x 6 sts in every 2nd row for sleeve shoulder chamfer. Bind off the rest 27 sts of neck-hole in the next row.
Front with ½ Sleeve
Make in the same way, as back, but with round neck-hole. For this, bind off the central 17 sts together with the 3rd decrease of sleeve-chamfer and finish both sides separately. Bind off 2 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards.
Assembly
Sew up the sleeves and shoulders. Cast on 84 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles 5,5 with 1 thread of Bombolino Lux yarn. For collar, work with circle rows of rib. In 30 cm from the beginning of work, bind off all sts as they face. Cast on 32 sts along the edges of sleeves in 2 threads of Bombolino Lux and circular knitting needles 5,5 and work with pearl pattern. In 20 cm from the beginning of work, bind off all sts. Make side seams and sew up the sleeves.
