Knitting needles 10.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: 11 sts x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 57 (61) 65 sts and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, work with relief pattern. In 46,5 cm = 70 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 47 (51) 55 sts. In 68 cm = 102 rows (70,5 cm = 106 rows) 72 cm = 108 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 5 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers, then, 2 x 5 (6) 7 sts in every 2nd row. At the same time with the 1st decrease, bind off the central 9 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 4 sts in the next 2nd row from inwards. In 70,5 cm = 106 rows (73 cm = 110 rows) 74,5 cm = 112 rows from the set-up row, bind off all sts.

Left Front with ½ Hood

Cast on 33 (35) 37 sts and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, work with relief pattern, for size M, start and finish with 1 st of stockinette stitch between selvage sts and make relief pattern on the central 31 sts. Make decreases for arm-hole and shoulder chamfer from the right side in the same way, as for back = 13 sts. In 70,5 cm = 106 rows (73 cm = 110 rows) 74,5 cm = 112 rows from the set-up row, cast on 1 x 4 sts for back detail of hood from the right side, then, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row and include sts in pattern = 22 sts. Make 1 mark from the edge, then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 2nd row due to the pattern = 27 sts.

Note: for size M continue work with stockinette stitch before selvage st. In 28 cm = 42 rows from the beginning of hood, bind off 1 x 1 st from the right side for better shaping of hood, then, bind off 6 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 37,5 cm = 56 rows from the beginning of hood, bind off the rest 20 sts.

Right Front with ½ Hood

Make in symmetry to the left half.

Sleeves

Cast on 45 (49) 53 sts and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, work with relief pattern. In 40 cm = 60 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, then, 8 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 52 cm = 78 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 9 (13) 17 sts.
