You’ll need:

Light weight/ DK yarn: lilac and beige (200 gr for the sample – size S&M/ 100 gr or 328 yds per skein);

Crochet hook 3,25 mm;

Yarn needle;

Scissors;

Buttons.


Size: L.

5dc-shell stitch: (5 double crochet stitches) into same stitch or space.


Stitches control: 9 double crochet stitches x 5 rows = approximately 2 inches (with materials indicated)

Start with color A yarn:

1st row: Ch 83, dc into 3rd chain from hook (the first 2 ch doesn’t count as 1st dc), 81 dc across, 81 sts;

2nd row: turn, 3 dc across, * skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 5 dc across * repeat ** 7 times, skip 2 sts, ( dc, ch3, dc ) into next st, skip 2 sts, 3 dc across;

3rd row: turn, 3 dc across, * 5dc-shell stitch into next ch3-space, 5 dc across * repeat ** 7 times, 5dc-shell stitch into next ch3-space, 3 dc across;

Repeat (2nd and 3rd rows alternately) x 20 times untill you reach 41st row.

42nd row: change to color B yarn, turn, 3 dc across, * skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 5 dc across * repeat ** 7 times, skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 3 dc across;

43rd row: turn, 3 dc across, * 5dc-shell stitch into next ch3-space, 5 dc across * repeat ** 7 times, 5dc-shell stitch into next ch3-space, 3 dc across;

44th row: turn, 3 dc across, * skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 5 dc across * repeat ** 7 times, skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 3 dc across.

45th row: same as 43rd row.

Collar

Using color B yarn.

1st row: Join yarn and insert hook into 1 side of the neckline, dc across, make 3 dc into the corners, total 109 sts;

2nd row: turn, 7 dc across, * skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 5 dc across * repeat ** 9 times, skip 2 sts, (dc, ch3, dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, 7 dc across;

3rd row: turn, 7 dc across, * 5dc-shell stitch into next ch3-space, 5 dc across * repeat ** 9 times, 5dc-shell stitch into next ch3-space, 7 dc across;

4th row: same as 2nd row;

5th row: same as 3rd row (fasten off, weave in ends).


Armholes

Join yarn and insert hook into the place where you made the last sc of seaming body line.

1st row: sc around (2 sc into each dc space), sl into 1st stitch to join;

2nd row: dc around (fasten off, weave in ends).

Steam block your finished project if needed. Attach buttons on.
