Instructions

Back

Cast on 93 (101) 109 sts and make 1 cm = 4 rows of garter stitch for placket, increase 10 sts in the last row = 103 (111) 119 sts. Then, work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 7 sts of wrong-side pattern, * 7 sts of stripe A, 6 (8) 10 sts of wrong-side pattern*; repeat from * to * x once, 7 sts of stripe A, 7 sts of wrong-side pattern, 7 sts of stripe A, 7 sts of wrong-side pattern, * 6 (8) 10 sts of wrong-side pattern, 7 sts of stripe A*; repeat from * to * x once, 7 sts of wrong-side pattern, 1 selvage st. In 19 cm = 50 rows from placket, bind off 1 st from both sides for better fitting, 3 x 1 st in every 6th row, 3 x 1 st in every 4th row = 89 (97) 105 sts. In 39,5 cm = 102 rows (37 cm = 96 rows) 34,5 cm = 90 rows from the placket, increase 1 st from both sides, 2 x 1 st in every 8th row and 2 x 1 st in every 6th row = 99 (107) 115 sts. In 52,5 cm = 136 rows (50 cm = 130 rows) 47,5 cm = 124 rows from the placket, bind off 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 75 (83) 91 sts. In 72 cm = 188 rows from placket, bind off the central 19 (21) 23 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 3 sts in every 2nd row from inwards. In 75 cm = 196 rows from the placket, bind off the rest 18 (21) 24 sts.

Front

Start in the same way, as back, but after placket, work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 7 sts of wrong-side pattern, * 7 sts of stripe A, 6 (8) 10 sts of wrong-side pattern*; repeat from * to * x once, 7 sts of stripe A, 21 sts of stripe B, 7 sts of stripe A, * 6 (8) 10 sts of wrong-side pattern, 7 sts of stripe A*; repeat from * to * x once, 7 sts of wrong-side pattern, 1 selvage st. Make fitting and arm-holes in the same way, as for back. In 68,5 cm = 178 rows from placket, bind off the central 13 (15) 17 sts and 5 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row.
