​Stylish Women Hat

You’ll need:

4 skeins of grey yarn (85% wool, 15% mohair; 60m/50g);

Crochet hook 7.

Head circumference: 54/55 (56/57) cm.

Note: finish every circle row with 1 slip st in the 1^st st from the beginning of the circle row. Start every row with 1 chain st increase.

Instructions

Make small double ring and make 1^st row behind ring. Finish every row with slip st in the 1^st st of the previous row.

1^st row: 6 single crochets behind ring (6 sts);

2^nd row: 2 single crochets in every st (12 sts);

3^rd row: * 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to * (18 sts);

4^th row: * 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to * (24 sts);

5^th row: * 3 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to * (30 sts);

6^th row: * 4 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to * (36 sts).

Continue work this way, increase 6 sts in every row until there are 114 (120) sts in work. After that, make 2 rows of 1 single crochet in every st. Make all the following rows with single crochets, decrease 6 sts in every row = 54 (60) sts. Then, make 2 rows of single crochets through back loops of sts. Cut and fasten the yarn.

Visor

Work on 27 (30) sts of front side of hat (in the middle):

1^st row: attach double yarn and make 27 (30) single crochets, turn;

2^nd row: skip the 1^st st, make 25 (28) single crochets, turn;

3^rd row: skip the 1^st st, make 23 (26) single crochets, turn.

Repeat the 3^rd row until there are 17 (20) sts in work, turn.

Next row: skip the 1^st st, 2 slip sts, 11 (14) single crochets, 1 slip st. Turn.

Last row: skip the 1^st st, 2 slip sts, 8 (11) single crochets, 1 slip st, cut and fasten the yarn.

Make 1 row of single crochets along the edge of visor.

Make pompom (7 cm diameter) and sew it to the hat.
