You’ll need:

200g of light weight (100% cotton yarn; 300 yds per skein);

Crochet hook 4 mm;

Yarn needle;

Scissors.

Special Stitches

3dc- V stitch: ( 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc ) into same stitch

Stitches control: 10 sts x 5 rows = 2” x 2”.

Instructions

Upper Part

Ch 144, sl into 1st ch to join.

1^st row: dc around, 144 sts, sl into 1st st to join;

2^nd and 3^rd rows: as the 1^st row;

4^th row: back post double crochets around, 144 sts, sl into 1st st to join;

5^th and 6^th rows: dc around, 144 sts, sl into 1st st to join;

Repeat 4^th-6^th rows x 3 times to the 15^th row.

Lower Part

16^th row: (dc, ch 1, skip 1 st, dc, skip 2 sts, 3dc-V st into next st, skip 2 sts) x 18 times, sl into 1st st to join;

17^th row: (fpdc, ch 1, skip 1 st, fpdc, 3dc-V st into the ch2 space of the 3dc-V st of last round) x 18 times, sl into 1st st to join;

18^th-39^th rows: as the 17^th row;

40^th row: sc around the bottom border.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Back Part and Shoulder Straps

Back Part

1^st row: From the 1st ch of 144 chain (upper part of the top), sc around, 144 sts, sl into 1st st to join (fasten off, weave in end);

2^nd row: From the 1st of R1, skip 11 sts, make 50 sc across, turn;

3^rd row: 50 dc across, turn;

4^th-7^th rows: as the 3^rd row, turn.

Shoulder Straps

8^th row: 15 dc across, turn;

9^th-27^th rows: as the 8^th row;

28^th row: 15 dc across.

Fasten off.

Join the strap and front side with sc or sl stitch. Fasten off, weave in end. Repeat from the 8^th to the 28^th rows at other side to make the other shoulder strap.
