​Melange Green Jacket

You’ll need:

250g of mélange green mohair yarn (70% mohair, 30% acryl; 175m/50g);

75g of green 100% mercerized cotton yarn (330m/75g);

Knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 2.

Size: L.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Widen pattern: work due to the scheme 5, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows as sts face. Make 1^st-12^th rows x once, then, repeat 3^rd-12^th rows.

Relief fringe: work due to the scheme 6 with cotton yarn.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 70 sts with mélange yarn and work with stockinette stitch. At 30 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from both sides of back for arm-holes and for smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. After that, crochet straight. At 10 cm height from the lower edge of arm-hole, bind off the central 4 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For chamfers, bind off 10 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides and bind off the rest sts.

Left Front

Cast on 20 sts and work with stockinette stitch. For smooth rounding, increase 2 x 2 sts and 8 x 1st in every 2^nd row from the left side and continue work straight. At 30 cm height from the set-up row, make arm-hole from the right side in the same way, as back. At 33 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 12 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row for V-shape neck-hole. At 58 cm height from the set-up row, bind off all sts.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Caston 54 sts and work with widen pattern. After making 4 pattern repeats in height, decrease 30 sts along the width of sleeve and make 5 cm of stockinette stitch. After that, for forming sleeve cap, bind off 3 sts from both sides and 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. After that, crochet straight for 4 cm and bind off 5 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row and bind off the rest sts. Make 1 row of single crochets, 1 row of double crochets and relief fringe along the bottom of sleeve.


Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Make 1 row of single crochets, 1 row of double crochets with cotton yarn along outer edges of jacket. Make relief fringe along neck-hole. Make the first 5 rows of fringe along the rest edges of jacket, make 1 row of single crochets and join to the lower edge of front neck-hole.
