You’ll need:

350 (450)g of denim-blue yarn (66% cotton, 22% polyamide, 12% wool; 145m/50g);

150 (200)g of the same yarn, but in brown color;

Crochet hook 4;

Knitting needles 4.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is even in the set-up row. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows all the time.

Pattern for sleeves: the quantity of sts is multiple 5 + 1. Work due to the scheme 2. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Colors order A: 5 brown rows, * 6 denim-blue rows, 6 brown rows*.

Colors order B: 3 denim-blue rows, *6 brown rows, 6 denim-blue rows*.

Rib in straight and reversed rows: * 2 knit sts, 2 purls*, finish with 2 knit sts. Make WS rows sts as they face.

Stitches control: 16,5 sts x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern for sleeves: 21,5 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Rib: 35,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 74 (82) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. At the same time, * increase 1 x 1 st in the 2^nd row for side chamfers, then, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row*; repeat from * to * x twice = 92 (100) sts. For raglan chamfers, decrease 1 st from both sides in 11 cm =13 rows from the set-up row, then, decrease 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row and decrease 41 (45) x 1 st in every row. In 51 cm = 61 rows (54 cm = 65 rows) from the set-up row, tighten the rest sts with working yarn.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Sleeves

Make 81 (86) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with brown yarn and work with pattern for sleeves due to the colors order A (B). In 48 cm = 53 cm (52 cm = 57 rows) from the set-up row, finish your work. For placket, cast on 40 (44) sts on central 21 (23) cm with denim-blue yarn and circular knitting needles and work with rib between selvage sts. At 10 cm = 36 rows height of placket, bind off all sts as they face.

Assembly

Make raglan seams. For neck-hole border, cast on 126 (134) sts with circular knitting needles and denim-blue yarn and work with rib with circle rows, divide the pattern in the following way: make 1 knit st in the center of neck-hole, front and back, start and finish rib with 2 purls. For better shaping of placket, make the central 3 sts as crossed knit3tog in every circle row in the center of front and back. At 2 cm = 7 circle rows height of placket, bind off sts as they face. Make side and sleeve seams. Cast on 140 (164) sts with circular knitting needles and denim-blue yarn and work with circle rows. At 10 cm = 36 rows height of placket, bind off all sts in circle row as they face.
