Back

Cast on 178 sts with knitting needles 4 and work with 2 x 2 rib. Bind off 68 sts in the 76^th row = 110 sts. Then, work with stockinette stitch. For side lines, bind off 1 st in the 61^st row from rib from both sides, then, bind off 2 x 1 st in every 10^th row, 2 x 1 st in every 8^th row, 4 x 1 st in every 6^th row, 1 x 1 st in every 4^th row, 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 88 sts. In 136 rows from rib, increase 1 st from both sides, then, bind off 3 x 1 st in every 8^th row, 5 x 1 st in every 6^th row = 106 sts. For arm-holes, bind off 4 sts from both sides in the 275^th row from rib, then, 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 86 sts. Bind off all the sts in the 339^th row from rib.

Front

Cast on 179 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 75 rows in the following way: 1 selvage st, 62 sts of 2 x 2 rib, 11 sts of cable pattern due to the scheme, 104 sts of 2 x 2 rib, 1 selvage st. Bind off 44 sts before cable pattern in the 76^th row from the beginning of work and 25 sts after cable pattern = 110 sts. After that, divide the sts in the following way: 1 selvage st, 37 sts of stockinette stitch, 11 sts of cable pattern, 60 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage st. Make side lines and arm-holes in the same way, as for back. For neck-hole, bind off the central 14 sts in the 309^th row from rib and 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 25 sts. Bind off all the sts in the 339^th row from rib. Make left shoulder in symmetry.

Sleeves

Cast on 46 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 8 rows with 2 x 2 rib. After that, make 136 rows of stockinette stitch. For sleeve widening, increase 1 st from both sides in the 11^th row from rib, 15 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 78 sts. For sleeve cap, bind off 4 sts from both sides in the 137^th row from rib, then, 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 17 x 1 st and 2 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row = 6 sts. Bind off all the sts in the 185^th row from rib. Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Assembly

Make shoulder, side and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Cast on 91 sts along neck-hole line with circular knitting needles 4 and make 28 rows in the following way: 80 sts of 2 x 2 rib, 11 sts of cable pattern. Bind off the sts in the 29^th row.
