​Red-Orange Crochet Jacket

You’ll need:

500g of orange sectional coloring Cinque yarn (53% sheep wool, 47% acryl; 135m/50g);

Crochet hook 5;

4 buttons.

Size: S-M.

Used Patterns

Shells pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 18 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start every row with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-5^th rows x once, then, repeat 2n-5^th rows.

Stitches control: 16,5 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: at first, make sleeve from the center, then sew bottom part of sleeve to the upper part.

Instructions

Left Upper Part with Sleeve

Start with left sleeve. Make 73 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with shells pattern = 3 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. In 44 cm from the set-up row, increase 1 pattern repeat from both sides side edges of front and back. For this, make 18 chain sts in the end of row, turn and fasten it due to the pattern. Leave the st in the end of row, join separate yarn to the last st of the previous row and make 18 chain sts, cut the yarn. Insert crochet hook in the previously left st and fasten this chain with shells pattern = 5 pattern repeats + initial and final sts (= 109 sts). In 11 cm from side edge, make back on the initial sts + first 2 ½ pattern repeats + 1 st (= 55 sts). In 11 cm from division, leave sts. Now, leave the next 2 ½ pattern repeats minus 1 st for neck-hole and make front on the rest sts. Finish your work in 6,5 cm from division.

Right Upper Part with Sleeve

Make in symmetry to the left part.

Lower Part

Make the central seam of back, side and sleeve seams. Fasten the bottom edge of front and back with 127 single crochets, then, work with shells pattern = 6 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. Finish your work at 36 cm long of lower part.

Assembly

Fasten the edges of front and neck-hole with 4 rows of shells pattern, make 6 pattern repeats from front edges and 5 pattern repeats along neck-hole. Fasten the edges of sleeves with 4 rows of shells pattern. Sew buttons.
